- One-time payment via Stripe for an AI-generated PDF.
- AI makes mistakes. Never use this for allergy safety.
- No refunds once the PDF is sent, unless a bug occurs.
- We process your photo, then we delete it immediately.
AI Accuracy & Safety
Menus Lingo utilizes Google Vertex AI to extract and translate text. While this technology is industry-leading, it can misinterpret stylized fonts, handwriting, or vertical Japanese text.
Critical Safety Notice:
This service is for convenience only. If you have a life-threatening food allergy, you must verify ingredients directly with restaurant staff. We provide zero medical or dietary guarantees.
Refund Policy
Because our service provides instant digital fulfillment, we generally operate a no-refund policy. However, we believe in fairness:
- Technical Failures: Full refund if you are charged but don't receive your PDF due to server errors.
- Accuracy Issues: No refunds for minor linguistic nuances, as AI limitations are disclosed upfront.
Your Data & Photos
You retain all ownership rights to your uploaded photos. By using the app, you grant us a temporary, automated license to process the image. We do not train AI models on your personal photos.Images are purged from our transient storage shortly after delivery.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Menus Lingo shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your reliance on our translations, including but not limited to health issues or dissatisfaction with meal choices.
